Hand-wash silk using mild, natural detergents in lukewarm water. Soak for no more than 2-3 minutes and avoid any rough scrubbing as this could diminish the fabric's luster. Once washed briefly, lay the silk items flat to air dry naturally. In case ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out while it is still lightly damp from washing and use the lowest heat setting without steam.

To preserve your lace and tulle lingerie, either hand-wash it or use a gentle hand-wash cycle of your washing machine. For added protection, use a mesh lingerie bag along with a mild, natural detergent.
