There are pieces that arrive simply as garments, and then there are pieces born from a mood, a memory, or a desire that lingers until it takes shape.
The Silk Chiffon Kimono Robe belongs to the latter.
I really wanted to create something more special — something not seen every day. Yet, as with everything in Abbraccio, it had to remain versatile, elegant, and effortless. A piece that felt indulgent without ever feeling impractical. That balance became my starting point.
Working in 100% silk, the idea was to explore contrast: softness and structure, opacity and translucency, delicacy and intent. The robe is cut from airy silk chiffon that floats with the slightest movement, offering a whisper of the body beneath, while silk satin trims add definition and quiet luxury.
The exceptionally wide and elongated satin kimono belt became its own design statement — a sculptural element that allows for styling in multiple ways. It can be wrapped twice to shape the waist, tied into a soft ribbon, or left undone for a fluid, relaxed silhouette.
This piece was never meant to shout; instead, it’s meant to be felt. On the skin, in the mirror, in those small, private rituals that make everyday life richer: getting ready in the morning, browsing a wardrobe before stepping out, or winding down after long days.
Through impeccable craftsmanship and meticulous finishing, the robe becomes more than a seasonal indulgence — it becomes something timeless, intentional, and meant to be cherished for years.
The Silk Chiffon Kimono Robe embodies everything I hoped for when it was only an idea: a garment that invites ease, offers beauty, and celebrates the quiet luxury of silk.
